Mondial Assistance

The FirstBIT specialist implemented a large-scale project to automate the business activities of “Mondial Assistance” International Group. As a result of the project, a system for accounting and management accounting was created that consolidated the data from all the branches and representative of the Group in 28 countries around the world.

When entering the Russian market, Mondial Assistance International Group opted for the FirstBIT’s specialized solution of management reporting “BIT:IFRS” and the “1C:Accounting 8” software.

Mondial Assistance Russia is member of Mondial Assistance Group. The Group is the worldwide leader of assistance, travel insurance and customer service, providing real-time professional assistance and support anywhere in the world. The Mondial Assistance Group consists of 35 companies in 28 countries on five continents, a team of more than 10,000 professionals speaking 40 languages. The company has an extensive network of 400,000 service providers that include experts in the fields of medicine, construction, car repairs, dealers and leasing companies, airway and railway companies.
To support the high level of service accepted in the company, required the building of the IT infrastructure that will be on par with the volumes of the potential market. One of the automation tasks was the creation of an insurance claims management system and preparing financial statements in compliance with the national and international standards, which was a prerequisite for a successful business in Russia.
The solution of this problem was the involvement of FirstBIT experts for automation of enterprise activities, based on the “BIT:IFRS” and “1C:Accounting 8” software programs, selected as up-to-date, scalable and fault-tolerant platforms that have proved themselves in large companies with complex accounting operations.
The choice has been made due to the meeting of an essential intra-company requirement — the integration with the “Unity” program that is used by the Mondial Assistance Group employees around the world. This program has been specifically designed for the company and it contains the information about customers of insurance companies, as well as registers insurance claims. Company branches work together with the software and share the revenues and expenses associated with a client, depending on their share of services by insurance claims.
